TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
