Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
